Haviland Lake outside of Durango. We drove up there yesterday afternoon to see the foliage, and this was one of 5 shots I took on digital. I shot more on film because I had it loaded with Velvia.
This is really nice, I love the way the trees and bushes around the eadge of the lake are almost glowing. The canoers help you realize how grand the scale of this area is. well done.
Very wonderful and warm lighting, looks great how it's isolated to the perimeter of the lake. Very good composition and the canoers accent very nicely. Beautiful photo, a wonderful representation of my home state.
