I love the intense look on his face. I think a slight levels adjustment on this would have really boosted the contrast and made it stand out more. |

is it high contrast in the true sense of high contrast? perhaps not |

This is an exquiste pet portrait but I'm not seeing high contrast. It's mostly mid tones. The lighting is perfect and the detail - awesome but it just doesn't meet the criteria to my eye. In a black and white or pet portrait challenge - 10. |

nice picture, well shot and nice tones. Unfortunately, pretty much all midtones and almost no darks and highlights. Think you are gonna get some dnmc's on this. Good luck. |
