Amazing detail, clarity and richness in this, Elvis. I'm afraid you were hit by the "anti-flower" vote to some extent - I'd have bet this would be above a 6. Gorgeous shot!

Ahhhh!!!!!! A flower shot! Abit flat on the colors but the detail is nice. I dont think I have the guts to enter a flower shot into a FS. Well done.

Interesting angle, but I'm not crazy about the background color. I think black might have worked better here. A little more saturation of petal color and sharpening would emphasize the curved petal lines a bit more, too.

Very nice but I dont like the green background. For such an interesting texture on the subject the background is just too stark of a difference. Of course too much texture on the background would detract from the subject... so it would be hard to find the right mix.
