 this was a junk photo. i had just gotten my 100mm macro lens in and i was just playing around with it. this was one of the first photos i shot with it. the original is WAY overexposed and was nearly deleted. but then i took it into photoshop and came out with something i really liked very much. i know it's Free Study and this probably won't stand up against the great images that will be in the challenge, but i loved the shot so much, i had to stick with it.

Cropped.
Converted to duotone.
Adjusted Levels and Curves to bring up the contrast.
Dodge and Burn to help the contrast.
Unsharp Mask.
Neat Image.
Added frame.
Saved for Web.

this image really does convey intimacy...I would have cloned out the stray hair over her lip, just that one...excellent edit and gorgeous face and composition 9
