 I have an avocado tree at my new place, and I was taking a really boring walk in the neighborhood and found a golf ball a few days ago (being the most rewarding part of an otherwise uneventful hike I decided to keep it) putting the two together came naturally. I toyed with something called "post processing" in this picture for one of the first times. The background is a red t shirt that I changed the color of in PP. Used one overhead lamp and, the avocado is hard as a rock. The Golf Ball is Top Flite.

Curves, Levels, Saturation boost, changed reds to green, despeckle, sharpen, and shadow highlights.

I like the idea and the textures of the avocado and the golf ball. I wish the background texture were blurred because I find the tiny wrinkles distracting.

Nice interpretation of the challenge. Only quibble is with the wrinkles in the background. I like the shadows, though.

Excellent conept. The shadows detract a bit and the wrinkles on the green cloth perhaps make the background too "obvious"

The wrinkles in the background are very distracting... the idea is nice though.

Not a bad image, but I do believe that the wrinkles in your background might cost you points. You might also consider working with your lighting a tad since the shadows do detract from the overall image. Good luck.

Everything is very cool except, IHMO the little wrinkle at the top detracts from the overall effect and the subjects are a wee bit soft. Score 8. Without the wrinkle and if it were just a little sharper I would definitely go 10. Nice title, too.
