 This was a last minute submission (I was working in another pic, on which I gave up and tried to work this out), so I knew it would fall short (though did better than I thought).
 
 The flower and its background was not very pretty at all, so in order to hide that, I decided just to keep the petals in color and desaturate the rest (camera feature).
 
 I agree it got oversaturated and it came out more pinky than purple. Also I didn't like the crop myself.

		i'm afraid i see mostly pink and very little that might be called purple.
