Butchered? No..
Slightly over-sharpened, and the halos could be pulled back some.. but that's a far cry from butchered. |

| Wonderful silhouette. But if the haloing effect is due to sharpening, then perhaps you've gone a bit far - I would imagine sillhouettes don't need much sharpening as there's no detail to bring out. |

| Like the image a lot but the processing - leading to those extreme halos around the silhouettes - is, to me, very offputting. Shame, as I think the silhouette subject matter is great fun, nicely captured and the sky too is great. |
