 Taken at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens in Durham, NC. I really liked the contrast of the purple with the green and decided to use this DOF.

Edits: Crop, Sharpen, Level, Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Saturation adjustment, Reduce Noise, and added border.

Give me your email and I'll send you the photo I took that's almost the same as this one. (yours is better) I took mine in Japan before I even heard of this website. Just submitted my first photo on the high contrast challenge.
