Sometimes it seems so easy to edit something into oblivion.
I was about an hour in to my photo. I'd tried duotones, I tried screen layers, and color readjustments. It was sepia, it was purple.
Then I looked at it and was like "What the hell is this?" so I exited without saving and reopened this similar photo, same flower, different composition.
Levels, sharpen, blurred the back a bit, and save for web.
I really need to get back to simplicity. I know keeping things simple almost always works, but I keep veering off until I've obliterated the image I started off with and envisioned when I shot it.
