 Could not think of anything humerous for this challenge...for some reason my thoughts ran more serious on this.. to me it is ironic that so many of the things we see around us on a daily basis that are so beautiful seems to wither away too soon..then we miss the beauty that was once there. Just one week prior this was a beautiful rose. Too soon to fade.

This looks oversharpened. The angle of the flower is good but the crop is tight on the top. I'm not sure the purplish color works for me, either.

Nice attempt, though.

background seems to have a lot of noise, also is cropped a little to closely at the top.

The image quality on this looks very poor. Over sharpened maybe.

Not a bad idea for the challenge. I don't think the quality of the shot is all that it could be. The flash/light are a bit too harsh and the crop is way too tight at the top. Tough challenge! Good luck.

The lighting isn't right here, too much glare. The flower is too high in the frame and there isn't any color to speak of in this photo.
