Not really the lighting I intended but I think I like it. Please throw some comments.

I start liking B&W more and more.

I like the off center placement of you in the photo. good contrast, but it appears slightly blown out in between your eyes.

Yes, the lighting is slightly harsh. I agree with the tighter crop too! I like your alternate better than this one. :)

The lighting is very harsh. It gives you a sinister look, which may be what you were going for. The harsh light may work, but the dark circles under your eyes don't go with the smile on your face, unless, of course, you are a serial killer. ;-)

i agree lights a bit harsh but what bugs me most is wonderign what your reaching out towrds. why your arms in there. hth

L:ighting looks a bit harsh to me. As Judi stated...a tighter crop or maybe a different background.

It depends on what you were going for. The large vacant area doesn't lend well to the lighting...maybe a tighter crop would suit it.
