 I used to attend Renaissance festivals and so have some costumes.... anyway got the idea to use an oriental rug as a backdrop from another image I saw. I liked the idea of combining the rug & a Renaissance costume, but needed something else.... I decided to add the knife (letter opener) and viola!

Awesome shot... Eyes that pierce, Wind in the hair, tack sharp. Great comp and a very cool outfit.

Our next ren faire is October can't wait to get back out there.

amazing sharpness on this one, I agree with the commmentor that you could tone down the eyes just a tad, but then it does give it a feel of a green eyed jealous vixen too. :) great work cindi.

A) I *LOVE* the dress. B) Lighting is particularly nice in this one. C) Backdrop is very effective for this. D) The hidden viola is perfect. Really a very gorgeous shot.

Beautiful dress and eyes. Your right hand looks a bit green at least in my Laptop monitor. I envy all your ideas and costumes and studio ;) great job. Where is my "Charro" costume when I need it the most?? oh yeah back in Mexico :P

I'd personally like to see more of a glare on your face. Lower chin and smirk. Heheh. That would go with the knife.
