sadly A - I'm not always beating you in challenges now and B - am I realy that grey? and I agree with Keith, B&W might work better.

Ah, so thta's what Andi looks like (from a side - lol). I like this shot, like the 'bokeh' and I think it would also look great in B&W. |

great bokeh in this. I'd like to see an eye to get soem connection with the subject but otherwise it could just stand to be sharpened and have a little contrast added to really bring out the details of his face |

People shots are special partially because of facial expressions and the appeal of the eye. If you don't include either of these features in a shot of a person's head, there has to be some visual compensation, IMO. Some sort of dramatic, dynamic element that makes for a compelling shot of a profile, or a head turned largely away, as you have here. In my view, this photo doesn't really have that additional element to compel the viewer to stay. The technicals aren't bad in this photo, there's just nothing that really speaks to me. |
