 This is one of my favorites. I have many but this one had something to do with art.

STEP 1:
I started by setting up the fruit bowl for real and taking a still life pic. (It turned out really good.) I photoshoped to to grayscale, and ran a few filters on it to make it look like a drawing. I then used the magic erasure to erase parts of it to make it look like it is in progress. I printed it on my laser printer.

STEP 2:
I took the printout and taped it to a canvas. I set up some storage boxes to get my crummy easel (it's a table top model.) It was hard to get the googly eyes to stick on the fruit. My daugter has every tiny prop you could imagine for her Barbie dolls, so I got some guitars, pizza, and food. I set them up and snapped away.

STEP 3:
Post processing. Not really much. I had some levels and saturation. I had to fix a shadow on my arm and the lue plastic storage box showed so I had to "healin brush" it out. (Right under the easel, I extended the table cloth to the easel leg. Lastly I drew the "movement" lines and put in the text.

This is a recreation of a real Far Side. It may not be a popular one, but I happen to get a kick out it. It's like Spongebob Squarepants. You either "Get it", or you don't.

This will be a fun challenge to vote on. I can't wait. 34 minutes.

I think having the caption or text box at the bottom would have worked better in this case, I didn´t notice it at all at first.
