 I went to my mom's house this past weekend, and there were tons of mushrooms that had just sprouted in her backyard. It was so weird. Kind of like aliens had landed. Here was a cute one I saw.

You should have flipped it over!!! :D

That's a fine edge you have on DOF with this shot. Did a nice job of blurring out the bg that way.

I would have been tempted to zero in on that lower-left corner and get a shot of the dew covered grass with the mushroom (really low angle to get the fins) as the background. Maybe toss a star filter on for good measure. ;^)
