I searched and searched for a single tree that had some wow. Couldn\\\'t find one so I settled for tree stump that was located on a empty lot next door. I still don\\\'t know Photoshop very well so I didn\\\'t do any fancy editing. If you do then please comment on what you would have done with this photo if anything. I just did some basic editing.

I like the idea of using a stump to represent a single tree. But, because it is presented so level from the side the stump has lost dimension making the whole feel flat. I'd also like to see the points of the splinters at the top as cutting them off (along with the ground) creates an odd composition that feels incomplete in the telling of the tale.
