This is so eerie... is that tree really part of this photograph, or have you just gone clone/blur crazy? It's just that there's some odd looking haziness around it...

It certainly meets the challenge, but I think you could have played more with the composition; make it a little less traditional. Maybe looking up from the ground or something would make it more interesting. 4

The trunk does stand out from the vegetation. Nice intricate textures there.

it looks like there's a single tree with only 4 bare branches. but honestly, i'm working too hard to see the picture in the challenge. there looks like a gree halo around the branches. 4.

That's a very strange and unique tree. Certainly the main subject, although the image IS quite busy and it's hard to tell where the main tree starts and ends. Seeing a green haze around the top and can't tell if it's something from post-processing or part of the tree(s)?
