While this may not have enough light on her face for a traditional "portrait", I think it's a lovely shot - it beautifully highlights her hair, and is quite nicely composed!

That's a nice capture. Its not properly exposed for her face though. With this framing, the face occupies very small area and camera will not meter right. You want to spot meter the face, fix the exposure and frame, shoot
