 This was a macro shot I took at a butterfly enclosure in L.A., where I wound up chasing these hyperactive butterflies for an hour or so. I know the shot isn't focused very well, but I still liked the composition and details on the wing.

Very dramatic colour and composition. There is something distracting about the left wings, especially around the edges. I don't know if it's from post processing or compression or just in the original. All in all a powerful image.

Pretty butterfly and flowers. Unfortunately, the focal point is behind the butterfly. It needs to be on the face and flower.

A beautiful butterfly and interesting colors, but there are a couple of thing I do not like in this shot.
First it does not seem to really meet the challenge.
Second, I think in this kind of shot it is really important having the insect eyes on the focus plane.
