I love the contrast here, from the rough tree to the soft fluffy mushrooms. Its very lovely.

I really like this image too. I love the contrast between the white and the dark tones of the bark. The stripes of the shrooms attract the eye. Amazingly enough, I agree with the bit o shroom on the right side should definately be there!

Hi Linda,

I like this one very much. IMHO the harsh light makes the image a very very appealing. Love the contrast in B&W and I agree that it wouldn't be the same w/o the bit in the right eventhough its weird.

Nice pic overall and great detail both in the shrooms and the tree.

backlighted shrooms - interesting. I never knew they would reflect light in such a pretty way. You managed to capture a certain "glow" about them, good work. Also, good crop - the composition looks wonderful especially with that tiny bit on the right, i think it adds a lot to the pic some how.
