| lighting is plain awful here. i am not even talking about relevance to the contest. |

| The harsh lighting takes away from the photograph's detail, IMHO. |

| very nice macro shot. however, the sprig in the lower right corner is a bit distracting. a close crop might have worked better. |

| Focus not quite there. Would have been nice though and yeah it's nice to and pick these. |

| It is a bit too complex and confused. My eyes move back and forth without finding where to rest. |
