Location: Flathead Valley, Montana

I liked this view when passing by, so I stoped and took several shots of it.
Not much editing was done. There was a tin roof at the far tree line,a minor distraction that I removed ( hope no rules were broken )other than that I resized it and left everything else alone.

Wonderful glow and tones to this. Polarizer and/or a UV filter would have helped clarify and deepen the sky and distant horizon a little.

Lovely softness to the image. Very flowing, and the goldish color of the wheat adds a nice impact against the blue sky. I almost wish you didn't have the tree in the composition. It distracts the eye from the beauty of the wheat.

Walk a few feet and get the tree against the skyline by itself and you can use this for the single tree challenge. 8) Beautiful colors and light. I really like the detail in the wheat in the foreground.

Nice landscape, would like it to be slightly sharper IMO

That smog on the mountains really takes away from the image. also needs more Pop apeal. Maybe slight curves adjustment.

Nice use of soft focus.

Another single tree!

Something seems a little off in the focus - and it doesn't look like it's supposed to be soft focus...

I really like the angle you chose. Seems a bit soft - I played with a bit in Photoshop and some sharpening really brings out the wheat and the tree. You may also want to try putting the horizon dead center - right now it's not quite center and not quite on a third. A touch of saturation will help bring out the tree and the richness of the wheat too.

Bowing heads of ripe wheat are a long-time symbol in art and you have photographed an image well, from near to far. The tree, of course, adds a nice green to the end of growing year harvest photo.
