I just love the strong color used in this one, and it just bounces off the screen at me. I love the detail and textures of the hay bale.
The impact from the sky along with the rest of the image is very appealing.
I love this one mate.

Nice complimenatry colors between the golden bales and bluish sky. Well balanced foreground and background elements make this a very nice photo. Great job!

I love your sky in this shot and your off-centered orientation really makes this shot.

nice image. could see this in a farmer johns almanac. But doesn't hold enough general intrest.

I relly like these circular hay bales. And you caught this one beautifully. Storm clouds add the necessary wow.. 10

Wonderful point of view and great color. The border compliments very well. Nice Job. One of my top rated images.

Love how you can see all the detail in the hay bale and of the hay stalks on the ground. Lovely rich colors on the hay. Composition holds interest - with the main hale bale in the foreground and off to the right. We see two more off in the distance as our eyes travel the 'field of gold'. My only critique is that some parts of the sky are a blown out white - several things come to mind on how to avoid that in the future - playing around with a the aperature setting (bracketing might be something to consider which is basically taking the same shot each with a different aperature setting to see what works best), possibly using a colored filter if you have one (it would greatly alter the tonal look of the picture if you went that route) or even waiting for the clouds to move and change position.

Technical: wonderful composition and coloring. The lower half of the sky seems a little blown out but i don't think it's too bad!
Creativity: it might not be the most creative image, but I do think what helps with this is the other bails in the background.
Personal Opinion: I like the image, i am mutual on the border...i don't think it was necessary, but it does look nice!
Score: 9

Had to laugh when I saw this as it is virtually idential to one of my 'nearly' submissions for this challenge. Good composition and colour.

Intentional sculpture would hardly be as effective as this. You captured the scene very well.

Very nice choice of perspective and great texture on the bale. Unfortunately, though, the lower part of the sky is blown out.

I quite like the overall feel of this image. The blown highlights in the sky to the left side of the frame is a bit too much, though.
