This effect was achieved optically, and not by photoshop. My camera had NO lens on it. I held a 50mm Pentax lens (from my film camera) in front of my camera body and tilted it in order to tilt the focal plane.

Cool.

I was thinking about trying to fasten an old lens to an adapter ring I have using a simple bellows. My idea was to make a crude tilt and shift. I made a start on it by removing the lenses original mount so I could get it close enough to the film plane. Now I need to figure some means of attaching it to the adapter ring so that it can move. One day I may finish it ;-)

You have done exceptionally well to achieve focus by just holding the lens in place!
