I would like this photo even more if you were to tone the lighting down more. Usually roses look very good when you are able to see the vivid shadows in the petals. It helps to make the rose more 3D and seems more realistic.
The way you have the lighting it almost gives a dreamy mood to the subject. If this is your idea is perfect. |

| Good tonal range. The brown petal edges show that the flower isn't a new one, but it is still pretty. I don't know who the title refers to, but the symbolism of photo suggests an older woman, past her prime, who enjoys giving of herself to help others. |

| I think this may have been helped with a bit more attention to composition. The lamp at the top-left peeking out is distracting to the eye. Also the bottom-base of the lamp. Maybe a tighter crop of if you had moved to the right. The color and subject is fantastic. Nice shootin'. |
