 Setup my violin in front of a plain white backround, took a lava lamp and put it behind the violin to cast a pink glow on the backround, turned off all the lights and used a long/slow exposure. Post processing, levels, contrast, adjusted hue to give a yellow glow instead, decreased saturation, USM, cropped, resized and done.

There's some highlights I don't like unfortunately, but I don't feel like reshooting. It's also too grainy.

I'd like to see a little more DOF so that the right side is in better focus.

Very nice and simple just watch the noise in the background otherwise good job
