 Shot in front of a window covered with some sheer white drapes. Set the camera up and used the timer and my remote. Click the remote and have 2 seconds to get set. Took about 20 shots to get a pose that looked decent.

Simple post-processing. Levels to blow out the window/background and further darken me. Little neat image to undo the damage from the drastic levels application. Channel mixer to convert to black and white since some of the yellow of the bow-hair was still showing up and it didn't look good. Another hit with curves to finish it up.

Hopefully I don't get bashed for letting a little detail show. Without it the picture goes completely flat and has no appeal at all. I thought leaving a bit of highlights on the forearm, forehead, bow, etc added just enough dimension to keep the shot interesting.

Nice concept, but there is quite a bit of noise or strange texture on the face and arm.

You could have boosted the dark contrast so the subject was jet black..I see him as grainy. 5

Excellent composition! Not sure I like the graininess on the skin and the bow hair. Not sure if it was purposeful? On the one hand, it's a bit distracting, on the other it makes me wonder if this guy is made of stone?
