 I am taking care of my father in law who is terminally ill. My free study for the month was the clouds & sky. I am his primary caretaker my photography has been very minimal in the past few months.

Everyday my father in law watches the weather channel so this gave me a chance to see when a storm was coming in or dispersing. If the skies looked promising that evening I grabbed my camera and tripod and ran across the road to the lake and shot the sky, lake & clouds. Then I would come back and tell him how beautiful it was. I saw a couple of really beautiful sunsets & storms in the month of August.
