 Taken in late afternoon using my camera's manual exposure mode. This image is exactly as it came from the camera except for global adjustments to levels and saturation in PSE2. No cropping was necessary.

Must be a teensy little door to be a macro shot and have that much arch

It's a close view of this archway, but technically, it's not macro (IMHO). The angle is a bit odd, but that might be working for you in interest. I really like the bird nests in the upper right corner. Good detail, nice textures, clear shot! 5 for such a good picture, 1 for the challenge. 6 Rob the Swash

Nice composition! Is the bottom-right part metallic, or just slightly over-sharpened?

If this is truly a doorway, then it's not a macro shot. It does fill the frame however, and does a really good job of it, but that's not what the challenge was. Feels just a touch out of focus.

Nice detail shot. I'm not so sure this is macro. Still it's very good and interesting. Maybe a tighter crop on the left.
