This was taken using pantyhose over the lens. Not my ideal challenge topic since I got so many other fantastic photos on this hiking trip, but oh well!

I really like the colours in this shot, I do find the seedhead in the centre at the bottom of the image quite distracting but you have managed to create a nice soft effect on the mountains :o)
Don't care for the title, but assuming it is true...
If you tried to make this photo soft focus at all, you need to increase the effect. This is a very nice picture for this challenge because the softer focus would make those flower colors and the snow on the mountain have a nice glow, giving the whole picture a very dreamy look which would work well with your subject matter here. It would please my eye a bit more if the peak of the mountain was pushed over to the right edge of the shot and the slope came down from there. This is not a bad picture though, so look forward to seeing you get even better.
Your mix of warm soft flowers against somehow equally soft snow gives this a good feel. Peaceful and the sort of view that people would love from their window
