 auto, macro & b/w settings, natural bright overcast daylight from upper SE-facing and lower W-facing windows, placed camera on shelf with mirror behind so i could see controls and used timer, kept shooting until i was satisfied enough with the results--aiming for if i showed this to folks they'd want me to do a portrait of them too.
