This is an old tree\'s roots after it had been up ended by a dam. When they flooded the basin it knocked many large trees down and you can see them when the water is very low. The "hair" added a neat touch. I really think there is no clear subject but more a feeling to this shot.

Thanks for the kind words. Dis - Pair is when two things have been seperated. This root was seperated from the soil by the wind. I wanted that word to carry a douple meaning, and I guess I went a bit too deep with it.
