This was my favorite angle of several I took with these objects. I think the straight on shot provides the viewer with an initial moment of ambiguity before the objects become recognizable.

No, no. I would have named this the eye of the pencil and bingo...top 5.

Heh! That's REALLY neat. I like it. I would have gotten rid of some of the negative space on the sides and put more emphasis on the vertical.

This is a very interesting shot. I'd like to know how you accomplished this without the pushpin falling over :-) I like everything about this idea, I just wish the pencil point were a little clearer.

interesting composition - the flower in a vase effect works well - there's a little discoloration as well as grain around it that distracts
