nice simple composition demonstrates an understanding of the proportions of a profile. Hair and flora provide interesting textures. the condensed visual information of a profile juts out from the center, perfectly shaped into areas of light and dark by the angle of sunlight. 9

There is no soft focus here. Soft focus has a misty character with the edges softened and bright areas turned like fog. It results of light difusion before the lens. This picture is only using a shallow DOF. |

IMHO this is more OOF than soft focus and for me the sky is too blown out |

this shot is too blurry...could be sharper...Just Kidding!!
I'd like to see more detail in the hair and the reflection on her face is kind of harsh. |
