Good idea...
watch the details ... example.. the strap of the camera should be hidden, so less distraction..

Hi from the Critique Club!

Nice image you have here and welcome to the DPC challenges!

The composition is good, but maybe you could get a different crop to where the camera isn't too much in the center. I like to color and I think the colors would have popped more with a sharper focus. I also think it would have helped with the defining of the "hair" to stand out more from strand to strand. Also, the reflection on the camera is a little distracting. Furthermore, I think a noise reduction would help this image.

Overall, I think you have a pretty good idea here and with a little work I think this could be a really neat image.

Keep up the good work!

:)

conceptually, there is nothing wrong with it; the punk hair is a bit odd for a camera, but it's creative and visually arresting (if not wholly appealing). it really suffers heavily from the soft focus though; i'm not normally one to automatically slap an image because it's not super sharp, but in this case the softness doesn't really add anything in terms of style. other aspects that might help is to do with the set up; i personally would have taken off the strap, curled the front of the blue surface to hide the black edge, and more centred the camera. initially gave this a 3, but it does have a certain kooky charm, so upping to 5.

Love the white thingy!

Suggestions that could improve this shot IMHO: Image seems a little grainy and I find the bottom line unevenness somewhat distracting.
