Lighting is not too bad. May want to try it where you can get more outside natural light. Also, try using a rectangle mirror so you can crop away the surrounding wall and make sure there isn't a door in the background to take away from the camera. Pluse you need to work on the camera's contrast so you can see the camera's lines better. Definately meets the challenge.
IMHO, I find this a little static with the center composition. It doesn't have much "wow" factor that many of the voters look for. The lighting could be improved and a different background behind the camera to cover the door could help improve this image.
Sorry - I couldn't help the sarcasm. This really is a little boring. You have stood a camera in front of a mirror (Actually looks a bit like one of my mums!) and taken a shot.
A little more creativity wouldn't go amiss here. Also, think about your background - In this case it is what is behind the camera, not waht is in front of it!
