 Wow top 40 in a free study!

Any way...this was shot in RAW and I combined 3 different exposures of the same pic to get the sky, fore mountains and then the ones in the middle correct. Then it I adjusted hue/sat levels and a few more basic adjustments plus NI...oh and I added that ugly border, which surprisingly no one commented about.

I've stood in this same spot many times and have taken very similar photos. This is where I've seen the Condors flying. You're facing northeast - away from the sunset but yes, I can tell by the shadows it certainly is towards the end of the day according to the shadows. I'm wondering if while you were at Yavapai Point, you had a chance to watch the the clouds turn red? When the challenge is over I'll have to come back to see if you've got a portfolio and check for more photos. Good job on this one and good luck to ya!

You were there on a good day! This must be a popular spot it seems like deja Vu but I 've never been there. Like the tree too.Excellent color. My only nit is the oversharpening.

Dramatic area, but I feel there is a lot lost in this image. hazyness, contrast issues. that lone tree is a distraction.
