Well as a reader of the forums this take on the challenge was just a bit too obvious but I couldn't resist. I'm not going for a great score as i know that not all of the voters read the forums and so some wont get it at all. but I hope to make some people laugh and shoot thier drinks out their noses as this one pops up for voting. lol ok. well laugh a little at LEAST. come on guys. it IS funny even if the technical skills are mediocre. :) I made the wanted poster in photoshop and got the christmas village out of the shed. tried a few different ways to make the fire but nothing would light on those stupid houses. so finally i put a pine needle fire behind it. at one point I had a mountain scape behind it. this recreation of "the alps" that i painted but it wasnt fitting right into the scene as it was a bit too small so I got rid of it. hope you guys like my take on this challenge. or at least chuckle at it's stupidity.
tried the hdr from one raw thing(didnt go well, but used it a little)
flattened
curves, masked village
hue/sat, masked all but pic on wanted poster
new background layer neat image, masked words adn part of sky
flattened
selective color, masked all but poster

The poster takes up too much of the photo IMO and it makes the fire element seem almost incidental

Very clever. The finger is distracting. Suggest nailing the wanted poster to a tree for a more authentic feel. Besides that I like this photo.

I tend to focus more on the wanted poster than to the fire. Nice colors and great DOF.

Ahh, humor! I could do without the thumb. Seeing the paper straight on, or perhaps a bit singed around the edges, would help make it seem less like a hasty snapshot.

I think a different composition and perspective would be better. The idea is great though - I bet you have made many people laugh.

LOL They're finally after the angry villager. After torching a Christmas village, I can see why, too!

Like the humour, losing the hand would have helped the shot. Good depth of field.. (JMO)
