| The thumbnail attracted me - and, for once, I was not disappointed by the larger size image. As said below, the depth of field draws on into the quiescent drama, reader and book. The car wheels, seemingly approaching the recumbent person add some sort of implicit drama too. |

| i really like the intensity of the subject. would almost like to see it cropped closer. i personally think the mug is distracting. maybe if the mug had been more "traditional" pottery and not reflective metal. even still, great work. i wish i could do this. |

| This I really like. I like how you've isolated him with both light and focus. Not sure how much of that you did with post processing and don't care, because it works. You could, if you wanted to, crop to just above his head. But it's also fine the way it is. |

Hah! It̢۪s not a dead body. I took this shot in the park area in downtown of San Diego, where lots of homeless people hanging around, so the one on the background probably one of them. |

| 1st you broke the rule about no people. But I won't hold that against you -this time. I really like this shot it has a very classic feel. Very restive and sedate. |
