could have done without the flowers... they are out of focus.

A unique and interesting view of a tree. I like the contrasting textures between the trunk and the branches (and the flowers).

IMO the flowers do not modify the pine tree, but distract the eye. I would like to have seen the shot without the flowers.

you could use the rule of thirds better putting the tree in the right side to open the screen for the pink flowers which i guess have to be focus instead the tree because it is old and the blur would help to appreciate the time

did you make a picture with opposite focus point too? so that the flowers are in focus and the tree is out of focus? good composition!
my eyes badly want to find focus on the front flowers...
