 My version of "Grunge This" - Goodman

While working on about 10 grunge layers I kept thinking back to what someone said in the thread - "Looks grungy enough already".

I kept thinking about the person who has to live there and how I am sure that they do the best they can with what they have to keep it looking as clean as it does... dishes washed and stacked off to the side, etc.

Wouldn't it be great if we could have the option to just 'peel away' the stains of time and start anew.

Thanks Lesley, I know your image was for play, but it made me stop to think and appreciate even more the luxuries that I have and appreciate those that don't have them, for who really is the stronger of the two?

great take! this is the kitchen at artspacedurban, a gallery, people use it for washing brushes, making tea.
