very fun capture. But, for some reason just doesn't hold me enough. Maybe because the last image I saw blinded me L()L. I am thinking it isn't clear enough, sharpness? dof? not sure. maybe a touch more contrasty? but still a nice capture.

Butterfly? Moth? I don't see the hairy antenae that is typical with moths, but the coloration and design is that of a typical moth. So I am left wondering if it is a butterfly or moth. O.K. now onto the composition, lighting illuminates this moth/butterfly wonderfully so that we get to see ALL the lovely rich detail of it's color and patterns on it's wings. The composition even gives us the rough texture of the bark of the tree.

a less distracting background would be more effective to emphasize the interesting moth you have found. I guess that is his habitat, however, and probably wouldn't be found in a more photogenic atmosphere

Cute title...
Unusual point of view, and good choice on the wide-aspect ratio/crop.

Colour and saturation is great.... There just seems to be a bit of a angle/perspective thing that give the impression that the photograph has been squashed vertically... Hope that makes sense.
