 she was very shy when i approached her. her brother was more willing so i took several shots of the boy first. later i saw here gaining some interest. i took this shot where she was, standing by the door of their little shanty.

i learned some tips from manny librodo (during a workshop) how to find good natural lights and capture those eyes. a free study this August is a perfect time to try out what I've learned.

i know why she looks sad. She is trying to eat cereal with a fork! I'd be ticked off too if I couldn't get any milk with each bite of cereal. Awesome shot by the way!

Great shot for a 'feed the hungry' poster!
I love the lighting on the girls face. Its a bit hot around her hand. Her knuckles dissapear into the unknown.
