| The reds are nice and rich. Perhaps because of the horizontal lines, though, the image feels a bit static. |

| I wish you could see this a little closer, but I realize there were probably zoom limitations. I think I would have liked a little more action as well, maybe some water coming off the oar, or more of a pathway where the boat had been... it looks to be moving rather slowly. Good subject though... |

| exposure tough - bright whites and reallly darks hard to capture - if this picture is about the guy, zoom or crop in - if it's about the water, lower the camera - if it's about the setting, lower your position and raise the camera to get a background |

| Decent shot but there's nothing in this that conveys any sense of motion. It's almost as if he was posing with the paddle in the water. |

| i think i tighter crop would improve the overall look. although its not bad as it is. |

| Nice idea, but i feel the highlights are too hot and the composition is pretty static |
