President Bush came to my area on Thursday, and while I have quite a few shots of Air Force One, Marine One, and the presidential caravan, this one seemed to convey transportation the most, since the physical transport, Air Force One, was juxtapositioned so well with the cemetery, representing the spiritual transport.

Thanks for the comments and votes everyone! This was about as close as I could get to the parked Air Force One so I framed it within the confines of the cemetary. The "mystery" in my title was referring to the mystery of what's inside Air Force One, not just the generic plane itself. I do know that AF1 has about 4,000 square feet of "living space" but beyond that, it's a mystery. Of course the mystery was also referring to the unknown beyond the grave. Maybe a better title would have been "Air Force One Beyond The Grave" ???

AF 1 or 2? As a sub theme, is the government presiding over the graves or is it the lurking cause behind them?

is that airforce uno behind a grave yard? political commentary? appreciate it, don't get how it was done but cool.

This shot would benefit from increased contrast and saturation. I think your title detracts greatly from this photo. First, it is no mystery at all how that plane is involved in transportation and/or the science behind how it moves around. So right there I'm struck by a flawed bit of logic. This is a good photo in the sense that it combines two very odd subjects. Let the viewer draw their own conclusions.

What an unusual composition. I wonder if the airline passangers apreciate having to face the thought of mortality every time they board! Interesting shot with a good title.
