It does for me! I like the 'balance' here - the curved horizon, the simplicity of the subject, and the interesting shapes where the ice is melted.

Cool image. I've always wanted to be able to take pictures like this. I've been watching Mansbridge on CBC aboard the icebreaker Louis St. Laurent, and have seen some stunning shots of arctic ice and sea. Believe it or not, I wish I was where you are now. :)
