I gotta say that I think this image was scored too high - thanks for the comments. It's one of those that I worked hard in PS, and kind of fell in love with - but as the week wore on I liked it less and less.

The face is soft - I had to focus on the lip of the bowl and turn the AF off or the lens would do the macro-to-infinity thing searching for focus. I'll do better I'll go back and get a couple of good shots when it's LIGHT -

Nice shot. The only fault I can find is the softness around his face. I'm not sure if this is a result of processing or if the DOF could have been a little greater. Great timing!

Hey. This is fun. Nice job of stopping the motion overall. Somehow this image feels like it's been heavily processed as to noise. Yes/No? The skateboard is quite sharp and well focused on the nose but as you move back into the image the boarder is a little soft. Could be the background overall, but there seems to be a blue cast to this also. Did you try adjusting the color temp a little to experiment? Just a thought. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

nice work. could be a bit sharper, but, all the same, cool capture. love the coolors and the composition.
