Damn, this was underrated. DPC voters are nuts. Especially how the technically worse skate photos placed so much higher.. ridiculous.

Definitely action, I like the foot that is clearly off the board. Unfortunately, the shadow is a distraction for me, in fact I'd love to see this shot in daylight with blue sky rather than black night.

cool shot, just wish you had framed it a bit tighter. all that foreground doesn't really do anything. also looks like it could have been just a bit sharper.

You might have a future career (current career?) in skateboard photography. Looks just like those posters you see plastered all over skateshops or a shot in a magazine. Well done getting that look and feel.

Even after reading more than a few skateboarding magazines myself, this definently beats some of their photography. I hope this is voted decently, because it is a lot more difficult to capture skateboarding than it may seem. Also, good work on the lighting. 9.

Stopped the motion just fine. Cool shadow on the wall. ;^) Lighting is a little harsh, but not bad. The night sky helps give this image some added dimension. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

That's a nice angle and moment, maybe it could use a bit more vibrant colours and perhaps some detail in the t-shirt? Great capture.

I love Skateboarding phhotography, IMHO this pict has too much dead space on the bottom, I would have cropped tighter
