3 year olds only stop when they sleep...

photoshopping:
convert from RAW, high pass, noise ninja, multiply, resize, save for web

woohoo! my lowest score yet! o well, i thought it was a clever idea, outside the box sort of thing. guess not... ;-) i kinda liked the lensbaby quasi-motion blur on an obviously still object. oops...

You have motion blur which the challenge description specifically addresses. I know, little boys are rarely stil! Sweet shot but not for this challenge.

Lensbaby! Hooray! They are fun to play with aren't they? ;^) I like your image, it's an image that will fit well in the family album as well. The problem here is going to be a couple of things; 1) You're not really stopping any motion, therefore you haven't been challenged to control shutter speed like others have. Voters are going to give you a hit there. 2) Lensbaby lens in general creates many "it's blurry" comments... ;^)

Again, nice capture - it's really a keeper. Just probably in the wrong challenge. Good luck.

ok, you have a whole week for the challenge. it's obvious you have the equipment. i just don't understand why you would throw this into the challenge. it's a nice idea, but really the wrong place for it. if you want better scores, maybe check out this thread.

Great colours, beautiful child and great title. Swithering whether this meets the challenge or not, but I like out of the box thinking. 7.

There seems to be a lot of (motion) blur going on here. Doesn't really succeed in stopping the motion in my opinion.

A very sweet capture. I feel the blur treatment was not a good choice for this challenge as it makes it appear as motion blur.
