Dropping ice from a glass against a black backerboard outside in the yard..my husband did it a hundred times, finally found one image that seemed to work after I rotated it...this is really hard to shoot since the ice sometimes didn\'t drop well or not in a clump or else in a giant clump...so this is the one...rotate, levels, curves, ss, cropped.

interesting. not sure if the cube going out of the frame helps or hurts the image. if the score is higher than you expected, then it helped. if it is lower than what you wanted, it hurt ;-)

Good capture of the ice in motion! While the black certainly makes the ice stand out, I think I might have preferred a colored background to give the photo a little more interest.

Nice idea, but less glass and more ice might have helped preserve the mystery and increase the drama here.

This is an interesting shot. The ice used here doesn't help on adding impact (not the motion part - that's fine). I say this because the ice cubes are dull in tone - not shiny or fun to look at. Nothing personal, just an observation. Seem to be a little underexposed on lighting here also. Good luck in the challenge.
